How to Create and Embed a Custom Web Form

April 30, 2026 3 min read5 steps

Custom forms are the highest-converting lead capture surface for booth builders — quote-request pages, "find your fair" wizards, and tailored RFP intake. Exphora's form builder turns each into a polished, multi-step wizard with zero code.

What you can build

Building and embedding the form

  1. 1

    Open Forms → New Form

From the sidebar, click Forms, then New Form. Pick a starter template or start blank.

  2. 2

    Drag fields into steps

Add fields (text, dropdown, multi-select, file, trade-show picker) and group them into 1–6 steps. Add conditional logic so steps appear only when relevant.

  3. 3

    Configure the lead routing

Set the source label, default tags, and the rep or team to auto-assign matching leads to.

  4. 4

    Publish and copy the link

Click Publish. You get a public form URL plus a one-line embed snippet for your own site.

  5. 5

    Embed or share

Paste the embed snippet on your site (the form renders inline) or send the public URL via email and social.

Frequently asked questions

People also ask

Can I style the form to match my site?
Yes. The embedded form inherits your Exphora brand colors and logo, and accepts a custom CSS class so you can style it further.
Are file uploads supported?
Yes. Add a File field for logos, briefs, and RFPs. Files attach to the resulting lead record.
Can I have conditional logic between steps?
Yes. Each step or field can be conditional on previous answers — show the AV step only if "Needs LED wall" is yes, for example.
How are submissions tracked as leads?
Every submission creates a CRM contact (or updates an existing one by email match), tagged with the form name and source label.
Does the form work on mobile?
Yes. Forms are fully responsive. The multi-step layout becomes a single-column wizard on small screens.
