Reminder: Exphora is software — we connect you to independent stand-builders who quote and execute the project.

Important: Exphora is software — not a stand builder

Exphora is a software product — we do NOT build, ship, or install physical booths. What you get here is the 3D Designer plus CAD exports so you can design yourself or hand the file to your fabricator. If you need a physical build, logistics, on-site labor or installation for FABTECH, please book a regional stand-builder — Exphora helps you prepare the design and hand it off cleanly.

Inventory Guide

What goes in a 30x30 booth?

Power, AV, furniture and storage planning calibrated to a 30x30 (9x9 m) footprint. Use this as a checklist before you finalize your design above.

Lighting & Power

4–6 × 20A circuits plus at least one 30A drop. Truss lighting overhead, accent uplights on hero walls, and dedicated dimmable circuits for theater zones.

Furniture Count

Reception desk + 2 demo counters + a 6–10 seat lounge + 1 enclosed meeting room with a 6-person table. Plan a separate "VIP" meeting area if budget allows.

AV Requirements

A 2.5 mm or 1.9 mm LED wall (12 × 6 ft minimum) for the hero, 4–6 demo monitors, plus a small theater with 1 large projector or 98" display and bench seating.

Signage

Hanging sign at the show ceiling, hero LED video, branded floor decals, and a feature "moment" — interactive screen, claw machine, photo wall.

Demo Space

4+ demo stations + a "theater" loop running every 20 minutes. Stagger reps so VIP visitors are always picked up within 60 seconds.

Storage

Full back-of-house: 8 × 8 ft minimum with a lockable door, shelving, refrigerator, and a small standing desk for the booth manager.

Lounge / Meeting

1 enclosed meeting room (with door) + 1 open-plan lounge with 6+ seats + a barista or beverage moment. Privacy matters at this size.

Insider Notes

FABTECH-specific tips

Things we have learned from booth builders working FABTECH (Chicago, IL). Bake these into your design before move-in week.

01

Live machine demos require dedicated 50A or 100A power drops — order these 60 days out, not on-site.

02

Booths run dirty: plan a dust mat at the perimeter and use easy-to-clean flooring (vinyl, not carpet) under cutting/welding stations.

03

OSHA-style barriers around any moving machinery are required — design these into your CAD plan, not as an after-thought.

04

FABTECH visitors come with technical questions — staff with engineers, not just sales reps, and design quiet 1:1 zones.

05

Sound levels can exceed 85 dB near machine demos; provide free earplugs at reception to keep visitors comfortable.

How It Works

Customize your FABTECH 30x30 booth in 4 steps

STEP 01

Open the 30x30 canvas

The Designer below auto-loads a 30x30 (9x9 m) booth with FABTECH template options. No setup, no install.

STEP 02

Pick a layout

"Surprise Me" is enabled by default — a randomized theme + furniture arrangement loads instantly. Swap walls, counters, lighting, AV and lounge zones until it fits.

STEP 03

Auto-generate plans

One click produces the electric plan (outlets, amperage, lighting circuits), artwork list and full production list — ready to send to your fabricator.

STEP 04

Export & ship

Download CAD (DAE/STL/OBJ/GLB/DXF) or PNG render. Share a view-only link with your client. Hand off cleanly to fabrication.

Other Events

Try a different show

Each landing pre-loads its own template footprint and event filter — open one and the Designer is ready to edit.

Venue, labor, and exhibitor context for a 30x30 ft stand at FABTECH

Show context

FABTECH is categorised as a welding trade show in our database. The current edition runs 2026-10-21 – 2026-10-23.

Frequent exhibitors at FABTECH

Frequent exhibitors at FABTECH include Cutco, 3M, Keyence Corporation of America, Ascentium Capital LLC, SMC Corporation of America, and Bissell Commercial — relevant context when sizing your own program against the rest of the hall.

Designing this booth in Exphora: drop the 30x30 ft template above into your scene, place counters / lounge / meeting pod parametrically, share a live link with your client for in-canvas approvals, and export DAE / STL / OBJ / GLB / DXF when production starts. Exphora also runs the CRM behind the project — pipeline, proposal, contract, invoice, sub-contractor coordination — so the same scene that produced the render produces the production list.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the embedded Designer really free?

Yes. The 3D Designer at app.exphora.com is free forever. Unlimited projects, unlimited CAD exports, no watermark, no credit card. You can use it standalone or alongside the Exphora CRM.

Do I need to sign up to download my CAD files?

A free Exphora account is required to save your project and download CAD exports — that is how we keep your designs in sync across browsers and devices. Signing up takes 30 seconds with email or Google.

Can my fabricator open the file?

Yes. Exports are standard CAD formats (DAE, STL, OBJ, GLB, DXF, PNG) that open in Blender, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, KeyShot, Cinema 4D and almost any CAD or render tool. Hand the file to your booth fabricator and they can quote and build directly.

What CAD formats are exported?

Six formats: DAE (Collada), STL, OBJ, GLB (glTF Binary), DXF, and high-resolution PNG renders. All exports are unwatermarked and free to use commercially.

Can I share this design with my client?

Yes. From the Designer you can share a view-only link, export a PNG render for a proposal slide, or hand off the GLB to a real-time AR/VR viewer. If you use Exphora CRM, the design links to your booth proposal automatically.
